The Challenge
A corporate campus with ageing analogue cameras, no central monitoring and high incident response times across three buildings and a parking deck.
The Environment
Three office buildings plus a multi-level parking deck in Pretoria CBD. Entry points, loading zones and common areas all needed coverage, and the analogue fleet had no single view of the campus.
The Design
GTL deployed a full IP surveillance network with smart cameras featuring intelligent detection, central VMS, NVR redundancy and 24/7 monitoring.
The Deployment
The deployment replaced the analogue fleet building by building: 128 IP cameras with AI analytics, a central VMS server and NVR failover cluster, a 44U network rack and UPS power backing — then a commissioning pass verified detection zones and mobile access for every security officer.
