Wireless Internet
Where Fibre Can't Reach.

High-speed wireless from R299/mo. Free CPE antenna, 24-hour install, Ubiquiti & MikroTik equipment. Perfect for areas without fibre coverage.

Why wireless

What is a Wireless ISP?

A Wireless ISP (WISP) delivers internet via point-to-point or point-to-multipoint radio links. Instead of laying cables, we use directional antennas on elevated towers to beam internet directly to a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) antenna at your home or office.

Wireless is ideal for areas where fibre infrastructure hasn't been deployed yet. It's faster to install (24 hours vs 2–5 days for fibre), requires no civil works or trenching, and can reach locations that fibre providers consider uneconomical to serve.

How it works

Live in 3 Steps

01

Tower Survey

We check line-of-sight from your location to our nearest access point. Most properties in our coverage zones have clear visibility.

02

CPE Installation

A Ubiquiti or MikroTik CPE antenna is mounted on your roof or wall, pointed at our tower. Takes 1–2 hours.

03

WiFi & Activation

We connect the CPE to a WiFi router inside your home, configure everything, and you're live — typically within 24 hours of sign-up.

FAQ

Wireless Questions Answered

How does wireless internet work?

We operate point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless links from elevated towers. A CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) antenna on your roof receives the signal and converts it to WiFi inside your home. It's similar to how cell towers work, but with dedicated, directional links.

Do I need line-of-sight?

Yes, ideally. The CPE antenna needs a clear line-of-sight to our access point for best performance. We do a free site survey to confirm before you sign up. In most areas we serve, this is not an issue.

How does wireless compare to fibre?

Fibre offers higher and more consistent speeds. Wireless is faster to deploy (24hr vs 2–5 days), requires no civil works, and is ideal for areas where fibre infrastructure doesn't exist yet. For many homes, wireless at 20–30 Mbps is more than enough for streaming and remote work.

What equipment do you provide?

Every plan includes a free CPE antenna (Ubiquiti or MikroTik). Family and Pro plans include a WiFi router or mesh node. Ultra plans include a managed router with static IP. All equipment is maintained by GTL.

Can I upgrade later if fibre becomes available?

Yes. We can seamlessly migrate you from wireless to fibre with minimal downtime. Many customers start on wireless and upgrade when fibre is rolled into their area.

What speeds can I expect?

Shared plans (Basic, Family, Pro) offer 10–30 Mbps shared across users in your area. The Ultra plan offers a dedicated 50 Mbps link. Actual speeds depend on distance from the tower and line-of-sight quality.
